Serves 4
Ingredients:
1 cup grated coconut
½ 2 cups curds
½ onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
½ tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
½ tsp coriander powder
½ tsp fenugreek seeds (methi)
½ tsp turmeric powder
tsp mustard seeds
7-8 curry leaves
1 big green chili, broken
Method:

Grind coconut to a fine paste with cumin seeds, coriander powder, fenugreek, garlic, onion and turmeric.
- Beat curds until smooth and mix in the coconut paste.
- Add water if requires, to achieve the desired consistency.
- Heat coconut oil and add mustard seeds. When they splutter, add green chili and curry leaves
- Add the curry and heat, but do not bring to a boil.
- Serve hot.
