Serves 4
Ingredients:
2 tomatoes chopped small
1 tsp Coconut oil
1 small ball Tamarind soaked in water and squeezed
Rasam powder
Salt
˝ tsp Sugar
3˝ cups Water
Seasoning:
4 cloves Garlic
˝ Onion
1 sprig Curry leaves
Mustard
Fenugreek
Method:
- Sauté the tomato pieces

Add water; mix in rasam powder, salt, sugar and tamarind pulp
- Bring to boil and then simmer for 10 min.

Heat a teaspoon of oil and add the seasonings. When they splutter, pour them over the rasam.
- Serve hot with rice, or by itself.
